Bhairahawa, Nov 18: The government has imported 32 luxury cars on lease targeting the SAARC summit. These vehicles brought from India are en route to the capital from Bhairahawa Revenue Office with high security management at 10:00 this morning.
The BMW and Mercedes cars were installed with Nepalese number plate at the Revenue Office, Bhairahawa and the convoy moved to Kathmandu, it is learnt. These vehicles have been brought from India on lease for the high profile guests of the SAARC summit as per the government decision, under secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Krishna Pantha said. The vehicles would be returned to India on December 2 with the completion of SAARC summit. RSS
